Description: This hinge connects the machine's door to the machine to hold it in place during operation and when the machine is being loaded and unloaded. If the washing machine door does not stay open when loading the machine, the hinge may be damaged. Over time and with regular use, the door hinge may become warped or fall out and need to be replaced. Disconnect the power source from the washing machine or dryer before replacing the hinge on the door. Remove the screws holding the door to the machine and set them to the side. Lay the door on a flat surface and remove the damaged hinge. Attach the new hinge to the door using the screws removed from the old one. Reattach the door to the machine. Reconnect the power and make sure the door functions correctly. This door hinge is made of heavy-duty metal and is sold individually. The hinge does not come with screws.
